Electronics Maintenance Engineer

A global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance systems and components seeks a Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
We are looking for a mechatronics engineer with an electronics bias. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test.
• Leading and participating in equipment installations, improvements, and solving underlying equipment issues in three clean areas requiring full gowning.
• Working hands-on and gaining experience with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.
• Managing own time and workload efficiently, and working as part of a team.
Key requirements include:
• Passing a medical and receiving training for wearing Self Contained Breathing apparatus.
• Not wearing make up and not having smoked 4 hours before entering the cleanroom (non-smokers preferred).
Responsibilities include:
• Project work, installing new equipment, and equipment modifications, and providing necessary documentation and training.
• Responding rapidly to equipment issues, ensuring timely repair, and providing clear progress updates to production teams.
• Producing risk assessments for all equipment and hosting and controlling contractors, reviewing their method statements and risk assessments, and issuing a permit to work.
Required experience and qualifications include:
• Experience in a multidisciplined role with strong electronics skills.
• A minimum of HNC in electronics.
