The Role
Our ‘Process & Automation Enablement’ capability sits within Connected Technology Consulting but works across all our functions. Process & Automation Enablement delivers assurance and advisory work in helping clients get more value out of their Enterprise data and ERP Business Management systems, specifically SAP, Oracle, and D365, as well as GRC and/or data analytical solutions. We implement, configure, manage, and risk-manage data-centric solutions to help our clients organize, assure, and improve their data; supporting them to make better decisions by fully harnessing the power of their data.
Our key propositions include:
1. Process mining and intelligence using tools such as Celonis, and implementation of process mining solutions
2. Design and implementation of low-code platforms for process and controls automation such as Appian, OutSystems, and PowerPlatform
3. ERP, Process, and Risk analytics
4. Enterprise Automation using RPA, workflow, and other automation tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UIPath)
As a Process and Automation Manager, you will focus on process mining and intelligence using cutting-edge Celonis Process Mining (EMS) technology to gain insights into client operations. You will lead and support process mining review and implementation services, acting as a bridge between clients, internal Celonis developers, and ERP process experts. This will include hands-on development of process and data models and building custom KPI/KRI dashboards to help clients gain better insight into their operations.
Further details are as follows:
1. Support Managers and Senior Managers in overseeing technical delivery, managing engagements, and maintaining morale in the team.
2. Build data models and dashboards on Celonis EMS for analysis.
3. Present implementation progress reporting/results to senior executives and process teams.
4. Identify and quantify opportunities for process improvement based on insights from Process Mining.
5. Conduct product roll-out and training for Celonis users.
6. Drive growth of the Process Mining and Intelligence capability by developing new business from existing clients and new prospects.
7. Involved in product development and innovation activities to ensure KPMG’s capabilities remain market-leading.
This role requires advanced Process Mining experience and a passion for data analytics, assurance, and advisory services. The successful candidate will be involved in client-facing roles and relationship building across a range of clients.

Background:
1. A degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or related fields.
2. 2+ years of technical experience in process mining (e.g., Celonis) in a senior role in a leading company or consulting environment.
3. Good knowledge of finance or operational processes (e.g., supply chain).
4. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and issue resolution skills.
5. Experience preparing exception reports, advisory documentation, and high-standard presentations.
6. Track record of effectively managing engagements and providing quality assurance.
7. Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including management-level colleagues.
8. Strong ability to organize and prioritize work to meet project requirements.
9. Experience with project management principles including progress reporting and risk identification.
10. Good communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
Technical experience/skills
1. Building integrations, data models, process maps, and KPI dashboards in Celonis.
2. Implementation of Celonis EMS - preferred but not essential.
3. Celonis Certification - preferred but not essential.
4. Experience in SQL, ETL methodologies, and working with databases (e.g., Oracle and SAP).
5. Experience designing and building integrations/interfaces.
6. Good knowledge of PQL/SQL/Python or R.
7. Excellent analytical skills, interest in Big Data and Data Mining.
8. Experience using data analysis tools in an ERP environment, e.g., SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, Celonis, Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau – preferred but not essential.
9. Good PowerPoint experience to produce impactful presentations.
10. Use of automation and robotics technologies, e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere – preferred but not essential.
