Your new role
Your new role as a Design Engineer will be integral to the R&D team, responsible for the delivery of new products and the continuous improvement of existing ones. You will participate in all design-related engineering activities, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include undertaking mechanical design activities, promoting innovation, and collaborating with third-party experts. You will also be involved in the continuous professional development of your skills and competencies, ensuring you stay at the forefront of engineering technology.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeedis a degree or professional qualification in a relevant technical or engineering discipline, along with significant post-qualification experience in engineering and new product design. You should have a strong background in product design and development, with a deep understanding of engineering principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to balance competing priorities, are essential. Strong communication and networking skills, as well as a proactive and self-motivated approach, will be key to your success in this role.
