About the role: We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Performance and Compliance Reporting Analyst to join our team based in Exeter. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,125 - £27,000 + excellent benefits. This role is to provide a regional resource for the compliance and insight into regulatory performance levels within SWW drinking water services and wastewater services; within this it’s a requirement to monitor the performance of our assets against regulatory and company committed performance levels. The role supports the requirement for the business to deliver OFWAT consistency compliant reporting in a timely manner and to the expected quality. The role will perform an essential part in improving the evidencing of compliance processes across workstreams and be a key support for coordination of the implementation of the new supply interruption event management tool SID2.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing support for delivery of key ODI’s in AMP 7.
2. Administration of preparation for quarterly performance reviews.
3. To provide a regional resource for the improvement and maintenance of company regulatory information to support and enhance supply interruptions, leakage and mains repairs.
4. Coordination of the DG2 low pressure register and provision of customer information when GSS payments are due.
5. Collection and preparation of data for the Network Intelligence team until fully automated.
6. Coordinate project activities related to the improvement of supply interruptions, leakage and mains repairs.
7. Liaise between multi-disciplinary teams and oversee good data collection and data sharing practices.
8. Document reporting processes and create flow charts to represent the flow of data between systems.
9. Raise purchase orders, monitor project spend and contribute to cost-benefit analysis.
10. Resolve any queries in an effective manner, escalating as appropriate.
11. Contribute effectively to group discussions and meetings.
What we are looking for:
1. 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent including Maths and English.
2. Microsoft suite with strong Excel & Word skills appropriate to this role.
3. Proven experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team of technical and field-based staff.
4. Proven track record of working to deadlines.
5. A good background in technical problem solving.
6. Understanding the importance of good customer service and the impact of actions on the company.
7. Effective organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and prioritise multiple initiatives simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as being able to communicate quantitative information in a clear manner.
9. Excellent report writing skills and able to present information concisely.
10. Ability to motivate yourself (self-starter). Willing to learn new skills.
11. Establishes rapport easily and builds effective working relationships.
12. Committed to attaining and surpassing the expectations of stakeholders by consistently contributing to the delivery of business results.
13. Acts positively when circumstances change and is constructive and proactive in challenging the usual methods to help bring about change or improvements.
