Product Marketing Manager Huddersfield Marketing Full time Permanent
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help grow some of our strategically important product categories. This is a new role and because these categories have such huge growth potential, you will be reporting directly to our CEO.
You will look after all marketing activity of Hot Tubs, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, BBQs and Solar Panels. We are market-leaders in some of these areas and have compelling products to sell to consumers, end-user businesses and installers.
Your role is to drive sales and profitability through both digital and off-line activities. By working with the buyers, you will immerse yourself in the details of the product in order to draw out the benefits so you can provide the hooks to sell more to our customers.
Digital
We need to bring product benefits and features alive on our websites, improve the customer journey and create a compelling reason to buy from us. We want our visitors and customers to have no reason to shop elsewhere. To do this we need to educate our customers, clearly explaining the benefits of all our products and services. We need to build credibility to our offering, for example by highlighting our award-winning delivery service and our superb installation teams. We want to be known as “The Product Experts”, and you will deliver this strategy by working with our creative department to build compelling content and a best-in-class customer journey.
Off-Line
You will also drive marketing campaigns that engage both our retail and business customers. For example, a business campaign could include sending out leaflets, calling potential customers via our call centre, sending out emails, devising promotions and attending end-user exhibitions. We will need you to create, implement and monitor these campaigns, drawing on support from other departments.
Your Reports
Reporting to you will be three digital marketeers whose role is to enhance products on our websites and analyse and improve the customer journey. You will have the support of the wider business, but you will primarily work with our ecommerce department to drive traffic, improve the website features, and implement CRM campaigns. You will also work closely with our creative department to make sure our offering is appealing and credible.

Your experience
10. A great track record in the direct marketing of products to retail or business end-users in an ecommerce environment.
11. Experience in selling online to both consumers and businesses.
12. Proven success in executing campaigns that mix digital with off-line.
