Duration of post: Funding/Activity Limited. The Sand Injection Research Group (SIRG) within the Geology, Geophysics & Planetary Science discipline area of the School of Geosciences is a global leader in research of natural hydraulic fracturing and sand fluidisation in the shallow crust. SIRG enjoys a close working relationship with the subsurface energy sector, focusing on the discovery and recovery of hydrocarbons and fluid sequestration.
The role is initially offered for 12 months, working alongside members of GeoXtract and the Sand Injectite Research Group, supporting the development of several commercial database products.
Salary: £32,296 to £35,880 per annum, placement according to qualifications and experience.
