As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will:
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Handle payroll processing and tax compliance.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior bookkeeping staff.
* Collaborate with the finance team and external auditors as needed.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* A professional certification (e.g., AAT, ICB) is a plus.
