Overview
We are recruiting for a leading telecoms vendor who are looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead the Business Development team in driving sales across their region. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving national sales targets, developing strong partner relationships, and mentoring a team of four Business Development Managers to maximise growth and reach. This role requires a proactive leader with deep telecommunications experience, exceptional team management skills, and a strategic approach to nationwide partner-driven sales.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of four Business Development Managers, promoting a high-performance culture and providing regular coaching and guidance.
* Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our clients objectives and adapt strategies to optimise success.
* Sales Target Achievement:
Set, monitor, and achieve monthly sales targets across regions by effectively managing team and partner performance.
* Partner Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to support team initiatives, ensure partner engagement, and drive growth.
* Performance Management:
Oversee the team’s sales pipeline, ensuring consistent opportunities across regions and assisting Business Development Managers in closing high-value deals.
* Market Research and Strategic Planning:
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive strategic initiatives that enhance our market position.
* Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance metrics to senior management.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, sales campaigns, partner support and account management.
