Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Cutting, joining, and shaping metal and other materials using heat and tools
2. Reading and understanding assembly instructions
3. Ensuring necessary materials are available
4. Taking precise measurements for perfect alignment of components
5. Operating cutting tools and welders to join metal parts together
6. Reading blueprints, cutting and shaping metal pieces, and performing quality checks on completed welds
7. Creating metal structures and products using welding and fabrication techniques
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Min 3-5 years' experience in Fabrication and Welding
2. Ability to read engineering drawings and produce cutting lists, then fabricate unaided in Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Aluminium
3. Experience with stainless steel and mild steel pipework, including fabricating and installing systems and checking for leaks
4. Ability to use CNC Guillotine and CNC Brake Press would be an advantage
