The Company: MAR Vehicle Solutions Ltd is part of the fast growing VMS Automotive Group offering a range of services comprising of Contract Hire & Fleet Management, Accident Management as well as offering Maintenance Services from our inhouse workshops and a leading provider of transport refrigeration systems, air conditioning solutions and converting panel vans into commercial, refrigerated vehicles. VMS Automotive operate nationwide with workshops and vehicle hire sites throughout the UK with our Head Office based in Stevenage and our Operations centre based in Bury St Edmunds. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor with excellent administration skills to join our fast growing team to assist the service manager with the ongoing development of our workshop, mobile repair and recovery services. The Role: Carrying out administration functions for all types of work primarily on LCV and HGV vehicles the workshop provides servicing, general maintenance, MOT preparation and PMI’s as well roadside breakdown and off-site repair work. The role will include but not limited to: Responsibilities: • Communicating with customers and reporting on VOR’s and updates. • Creating Estimates & Raising Job Cards • Preparing invoices • Ordering and organisation of parts logistics • Workshop planning • Liaising with technicians (including Mobile Tech Management) • Ensuring daily objectives are carried out • Dealing with warranty claims from Start to Finish. Skill and Experience: • Previous experience in a Service environment in the automotive industry • Adaptable • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels • Technical knowledge would be advantageous The ideal candidate will: • Be a team player • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, polite and professional • Can work under pressure and maintain professionalism • Can be flexible and respond to different ways of working in the face of changing situations Training: Training will be provided on all systems and processes.
