Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Good standard of education – GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent. NVQ 3 Business administration or equivalent knowledge & experience. Desirable criteria Keyboard skills for regular use of computer systems/touch or audio typing Knowledge And Experience Essential criteria Significant experience of admin procedures in a busy NHS environment Experience of progressing, chasing, answering queries and task related non routine activities as detailed in the job description Experience of working in an environment under pressure and to deadlines Knowledge of hospital systems In depth knowledge of a database for making appointments and monitoring waiting times.
