What will my role look like as an Area Manager?
Sbarro is an American pizzeria chain that specialises in mouthwatering, sold-by-the-slice New York-style pizza and other Italian-American cuisine! We are one of the largest quick service Italian chains in the world, known for our premium secret ingredients & signature recipes served by the kindest, friendliest employees, which keeps our customers content and coming back for more!
We are the UK’s ONLY franchise and have extensive plans to open multiple new stores throughout the year. An exciting opportunity is available for an Area Manager. Over the next three years, your primary focus will be to assist in the rapid roll-out of new stores across the UK, which will involve travel to various locations.
As a Sbarro Area Manager, you will leverage your logical, strategic, and management skills to drive sales, performance, and standards across your stores. You will be heavily involved in our new store expansion plan, with eventual responsibility for a minimum of 10 stores within an assigned geographical area. You will work with a famous brand and aim to excel in sales, customer service, and store audits.
This role requires commitment, hard work, and dedication, but also offers fun and rewarding benefits. Your weekly duties will include visiting stores to recognize strengths, identify areas for improvement, and increase sales and profitability through leadership and management. Regular engagement with store managers and teams, setting individual and store targets, and developing strategies to improve store performance will be key aspects of your role.

Main responsibilities as an Area Manager:
* Ensure all new store openings are staffed and meet brand standards before opening
* Visit all stores within your area regularly to monitor performance
* Coach, mentor, and motivate managers and teams, delegating responsibilities effectively
* Focus on marketing to increase customer footfall
* Implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets
* Recruit high-quality managers and staff, fostering a family-like environment
* Support staff training, development, and progression
* Maintain attractive and vibrant store appearances
* Ensure stores pass mystery shopper evaluations and audits
* Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and have fun
What are we looking for?

* Experience in Store Management or Multi-Store Management
* Catering, Restaurant, or Hospitality experience (preferred)
