Job Advert 1: Behaviour Mentor - Tower Hamlets
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with children who face challenges in mainstream education? A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a pupil referral unit in the Tower Hamlets borough.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
2. Implement strategies to improve student's engagement and behaviour.
3. Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to create personalised support plans.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive environment to encourage academic and social progress.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with students.
4. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
