Overview Currently seeking an experienced Fabric Supervisor to join our growing team, supporting a key contract covering a region spanning from Reading & Southampton (M4 /M3 corridor). Leading a team of multiskilled technicians, including plumbers, carpenters, electricians ensuring the completion of fabric maintenance and repair tasks you will have a sounds knowledge of all building services alongside a good level of administration and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities Liaise and co-ordinate site activities associated with services for which you are responsible, i.e. labour planning and ordering of materials. Assist in the preparation of emergency contingency plans. Be conversant with current Health & Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices and help carry out tool box talks. Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure using this information to report to the Manager as required. Co-ordinate all site activities, both maintenance and projects and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site / contract procedures and requirements. Be responsible for the day to day management and administration of the engineers that are reporting to you. Manage and monitor the Reactive work order process inclusive of reporting taking all jobs through the helpdesk coordinators. Operate Lancer Scott QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required. Attend or manage emergency call outs and provide written incident reports as required. Carry out Site supervisory visits to ensure H&S, quality and completion of work is at the required standard. Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy. Undertake site surveys and prepare quotations/information for additional works/repairs. In conjunction with the relevant Manager, assist in annual performance reviews with direct report engineers. To be on call on a Supervisors Call out Rota 1 in 6. (for escalations) Skills, Experience & Background Essential A good knowledge of all building services Sound level of administration and organisational skills Minimum 5 years practical experience within the building industry Good level of H&S knowledge and experience Ability to develop a good understanding of the customer requirements Display initiative taking a proactive approach to all tasks Be able to illustrate a high standard of workmanship Conscientious and reliable A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills Desirable Health and Safety experience SMSTS or equivalent 2-year experience within similar supervisory role Sound knowledge of computers software, Microsoft Office About Us Established in 1998 Lancer Scott offer renowned high-quality construction projects and facilities management services.
