Senior Night Support Worker at Autism Pathways.
Salary: £16.85 per hour
Work Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Night Shifts: 22:00-08:00, including weekend rotations.

The Role:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team, working with adults with Autism in a specialist setting. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in a fully individualized environment where person-centered care is prioritized. The role includes 2:1 or 3:1 support for service users, structured activity programs, and a safe, supportive living space, fostering both resident and staff wellbeing. The Service:
Our Birkenhead location is a purpose-built specialist facility, featuring three private, self-contained bungalows, each adapted to accommodate individual needs. This environment is designed to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours, providing an ideal setting for those who have faced challenges finding the right support. Each resident has access to their own secure and private living spaces—including a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and garden—along with additional safety features tailored to their specific needs. Separate staff facilities in each bungalow ensure residents' privacy and independence.
Role Requirements:
1. Lead and supervise night support staff to provide high-quality care.
2. Develop individualized care plans and implement structured daily programs.
3. Support a safe environment through specialist equipment and reinforced furniture.
4. Participate in the professional development program to enhance your expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Proven leadership experience in a care setting.
2. Ideally, 2-3 years' experience in a specialist environment (e.g., adult Autism, learning disabilities, complex behaviours).
3. Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to complete.
4. Full UK driving license and willingness to occasionally travel to assist with user transitions.
