Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reporting to: Head of Sales
Job Responsibilities
1. Promotion of our entire product portfolio to offshore oil and gas, ocean science, renewable energy, defence applications & clients.
2. Work closely with the Head of Sales sharing dialogue with regards to all sales/business development activity.
3. Develop and sustain a strong pipeline and ultimately grow the client base by identifying new opportunities and potential clients through research, intelligence gathering, field-based activity and following up of leads and referrals.
4. Close interaction with colleagues in our sales, technical and project management departments both in the UK and Denmark.
5. Building and forging close relations with customers.
6. Travel both within the UK and Ireland on a regular basis.
7. Attend Trade Exhibitions to represent the Company when and if required.
8. Competitor analysis to provide product and market feedback.
9. This is a Field Sales opportunity.
Professional Requirements
1. Strong technical and/or commercial background preferred.
2. Extensive sales experience, ideally in the marine technology marketplace.
3. Solid IT skills, MS office, Business Central an advantage but not essential.
4. Strong focus on results, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
5. Dedicated, outgoing, flexible and a good team player.

2. Understand, adopt, endorse, and promote a corporate culture of customer focus, integrity, teamwork, technical excellence, and perseverance.
3. Proven successful field sales background.
4. Ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels and focused on achieving results.
5. Confidence in presenting themselves and the Company.
Metrics
1. Quality client visits.
2. Provide feedback on new client applications and product ideas.
3. Three monthly sales forecast and strategy plan.
4. Weekly Sales Report.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
5. Focused and goal-oriented.
