Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team at ACS International Schools.
About the Role:
The IT Systems Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the effective maintenance of essential business information and core IT services. This includes ensuring the accuracy of Active Directory data, validating and improving systems, processes, and procedures, and administering internal phone systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide basic front-facing IT operational support for students, parents, and staff interacting with IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy of user details, contact information, and extended attributes in Active Directory
• Collaborate with the Head of IT to deliver department-wide objectives and improve overall efficiency
• Effectively manage internal phone systems, adding users, updating entries, and assisting with setup and day-to-day use
• Administer ACS Zoom contract, providing support for management and ongoing improvement
• Manage mobile phone contracts, checking lines, packages, and ordering handsets as required
• Provide technical assistance to students, parents, and staff on various IT systems and hardware
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum Level 3 qualification (or NVQ Level 3) with additional training in office administration or entry-level IT certifications. Essential skills include experience administering IT systems and processes, comfort with contemporary Cloud-based technologies, familiarity with IT Department working environments and systems, and basic understanding of Windows and Apple OS. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Location and Working Pattern:
This role is based at our Cobham Campus, with a standard working pattern of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the Data and Systems Integration Manager and other members of the IT team.
