The Opportunity
We have a unique, exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to work across our diverse international supply chain. You will be responsible for a designated set of suppliers ensuring stock levels are maintained in-line with working capital and service targets. You will work closely with several different departments, including Demand Planning, Customer Services & Logistics to understand potential spikes in demand, proactively review and mitigate potential risks to stock, and ensure timely intervention, escalation, and communication. You will also have a key role in supporting various projects within the business such as NPD launches, ERP optimisation, SKU rationalisation, and min/max stock level reviews, as well as providing insight leading to optimised inventory, cost saving initiatives, and improvement of supply chain efficiency.
You will need to have a wealth of supply chain and planning knowledge, plus the experience and ability to demonstrate a track record of achieving targets, using KPI’s to improve processes within both the supply chain and planning function. In addition, you will need to have a strong commercial understanding and an excellent analytical mindset, being able to produce accurate information, interpret data, draw conclusions, and provide insight which will add value.
