ROLE: Trade Counter Assistant
HOURS: 44 per week - Permanent role
SALARY: £26,000 basic salary per year
BONUS: Realistic total earning potential of up to £30,000 per year

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with Branch Manager and Supervisor in daily operations
* Achieve sales targets through trade counter sales and product knowledge
* Provide excellent customer service
* Pick, load, and deliver products using company vehicles
* Route planning, safe driving, vehicle maintenance
* Support branch activities and ensure health and safety compliance
* Maintain branch standards including stock management and cleanliness
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Proactive and confident customer engagement
* Ability to drive sales and maximize margins
* Good organizational skills and initiative
* IT skills including MS Office and industry software (e.g., SAP)
* Valid driving license; FLT license advantageous
* Experience in stock management or similar roles is beneficial
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
