Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Catering Assistant based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up, and cleaning duties related to the provision of catering services to patients, staff, visitors, and for functions.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required to do the job:
You should be an organized person with kitchen management skills. Experience in large-scale catering, preferably within NHS, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential.
Having a current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, or it should be completed within the first 3 months of employment. Previous experience of working within a large-scale catering environment would be an advantage; full training will be given.

Hours/Shift Pattern:
13.57 hours
Shift Patterns: TBC - 7 days on, 7 days off.
