Our client is a local business based in Aldridge. They are looking to add a Credit Controller to their team to cover a busy period. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a temporary basis.
THE ROLE
You will report to the Credit Manager chasing debt for a large ledger of live accounts. You will be responsible for chasing payments from customers and dealing with all queries on invoices. This includes raising invoices, handling debit and credit notes, allocation of cash, and reconciling the petty cash. You will also be responsible for credit checking new accounts and setting credit limits. Building relationships with clients and keeping the ledger up to date are essential. Other duties will include general ad hoc admin tasks such as credit checking and opening new accounts.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have worked in a credit control role and have had full ownership of a ledger of accounts for 2 – 3 years, with a good overall knowledge of a busy credit department. You should be committed, hardworking, and a good communicator with the ability to work in an established team. The role will begin on a temporary basis with a view to permanent after a qualifying period.

The company offers excellent working conditions and onsite parking. A competitive salary of £25,000 – £27,000 is provided, with working hours of 37.5 hours.
