Summary As a Holiday Cottage Cleaner for Thorington Hall and Lodge, this role could not be more important in ensuring our guests are provided with the perfect stay from the moment they arrive. You will be joining a small but excellent team to deliver this. Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible. With all year-round work, the regular changeover days do not always fall on the same days, but they are predominately Mondays and Fridays. Flexibility will be required however. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible. Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 28th February 2026, with potential to be made permanent in the future. Salary: £11.50 an hour Interview date: Friday 14th February Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'. What it's like to work here This role will involve cleaning and preparing to a high standard at Thorington Hall and Lodge along with the rest of the team. holidays/thorington-hall-east-anglia holidays/thorington-lodge-east-anglia There is also a possibility of work at other cottages we manage in surrounding areas on a cover basis if you are interested. As our cottages are often remote you would need your own transport. What you'll be doing It’s the details that make you a brilliant cleaner. On changeover days you will prepare the cottages in readiness for guests to arrive, ensuring that you clean throughout to the highest standard including making up all beds. We also like you to keep an eye out for any repairs or odd jobs that need doing and report these in time for them to be fixed prior to guest arrival.
