Key Accountabilities
1. Regular visits to customer’s premises to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
2. Investigate current and future business opportunities within a designated sales area with both existing and potential customers
3. Work closely with other companies within the Group to develop business within a designated sales area
4. Maintain and develop industry and process knowledge
5. Feedback information to be provided through the visit report system
6. Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
7. Respond to customer enquiries in relation to quotations and orders
8. Communicate with all internal departments to provide accurate information to customers
9. Work as part of a team to achieve Company sales and margin targets
10. Attend team meetings to contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the Company
11. Provide accurate information to assist with sales forecasting
Essential Required Profile
1. Substantial proven working experience within a sales role/environment
2. Ability to travel independently and work overseas
3. Commercial awareness
4. Strong and effective communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly
5. Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
6. High degree of flexibility, self-motivation, and team player
7. Highly organized and able to multitask
8. Professional and confident
9. Willingness to travel overseas
10. Trustworthy with good attention to detail
11. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Desirable
1. Worked within a similar industry
2. Engineering experience would be highly desirable
3. Experience in using sales order processing software
4. Degree in Business Administration/Sales or Technical field
5. Additional language would be beneficial
6. Calm under pressure and highly reliable
7. Strong analytical skills
