We are looking for a Finance Systems Support & Development Manager to join our team in Bradford (BD4). This is a hybrid role with expectations to work in the office at least two days a week. As the primary contact for Essbase, Hyperion, and Oracle EPM Cloud users, you'll liaise between finance and system teams to ensure user requirements are understood and assessed. You'll manage data processes between systems, handle complex queries, and engage in development activities. Collaborating with Technology teams, you'll enhance tools for better customer experience, identify automation opportunities, and drive process improvements. A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities is essential. What will you be doing? Provide support to Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, and Commercial Finance user communities across the company footprint, addressing issues and queries. Review reporting requirements of user groups, ensuring system amendments achieve desired outcomes without affecting other areas. Load financial and non-financial data into Essbase, Hyperion, and Oracle EPM. Reconcile data between systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, and reporting cubes), investigate discrepancies, and discuss findings with Commercial Finance and the wider LG SSC Systems team. Maintain mapping tables and scripts between the company footprint and Liberty Global Chart of Accounts. Resolve complex queries from Group FP&A and LGI finance teams. Support users with complex queries, including Oracle GL back posting or journal loading exercises. Attend Governance Change meetings with Heads of Departments across finance to ensure all required changes are approved and anticipated. Deliver development activities, managing end-to-end for small projects or collaborating with the Technology and Transformation team for larger initiatives. We tend to look for people with: Essential : Qualified Accountant with experience in Management Accounts and an interest in Finance systems. Proficient in Oracle ERP modules. Experienced with Business Objects Reporting Tools. Strong customer relationship and service skills. Expert in MS Excel, including macros, Visual Basic, and Power Query. Experienced in using Hyperion Planning and Essbase. Proficient HFM and FDM user. Ability to liaise with all levels of management. Desirable : Qualified Accountant (preferred). Good knowledge of PBCS and Essbase. Proficient in Business Objects (BOXI). Good working knowledge of Oracle, Fusion, and HFM. Strong analytical skills. Outstanding verbal, written, and numerical communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead and facilitate meaningful and long-lasting relationships. Highly skilled at managing relationships and conflicting priorities at a senior level. What’s in it for you?
