McGinley are seeking an experienced Working Civils Ganger/Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of workers performing trial hole excavations in Winnal. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate a team of workers to ensure trial holes are completed to specification and on schedule.
* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Monitor and manage site resources, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Liaise with site management to report progress, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Gold CSCS Card (essential).
* Street works certification Accepted
* EUSR Cat 1 & 2 certification (essential).
* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification (accepted).
* Proven experience leading teams in a civils environment, particularly in trial hole excavation.
* Strong understanding of excavation safety, including cable and utility avoidance.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* A commitment to high standards of health and safety on-site.
