Role description:
We are looking for an experienced Climate Adaptation Consultant to join our Sustainability Advisory team within our Environmental group. We are a growing team focused on delivering sustainable solutions to support our clients on their journey to a more resilient net zero future. Working with cross-disciplinary teams we aim to take every opportunity to support our clients to go further and faster.

Role accountabilities:
Because were such a diverse business, we can offer you variety as standard. Youll get to work on a range of different projects across various industries including the buildings and infrastructure and water sectors. The team offers an array of services to our clients from climate risk assessment through to adaptation strategy development, climate risk disclosure, and adaptation action planning.
The duties of this role will include but are not limited to:
1. Undertake climate resilience assessments within the impact assessment process.
2. Lead / facilitate workshops and meetings to support the design of climate resilient projects
3. Work alongside clients to develop adaptation strategies and actions plans.
4. Climate risk disclosure in line with standards such as IFRS, CSRD, and EU Taxonomy.
5. Provide clear presentations and reports meeting varying client requirements
6. Assist or Lead on business development activities including client presentations and preparation of bids
7. Strong numerical and quantitative skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
8. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with experience specialising in climate adaptation, preferably within a consultancy environment
9. Experience in working on a range of climate risk and adaptation projects
10. Previous experience analysing climate projections would be advantageous
11. Experience of interacting with clients and involvement with business development including the development of business cases, define scopes, plan, and delivery of adaptation projects
12. Strong understanding and application of climate risk assessment methodologies
13. Desired: Chartership or Working towards Chartership
