We have an exciting permanent opportunity available for a dynamic & proactive IT Portfolio & Vendor Management Officer to join a fantastic organisation in the heart of Birmingham.
Supporting the IT Portfolio & Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the portfolio plan (including budget management), demand management/capacity planning, performance monitoring - utilising data from various sources (internal and external) and assisting with contract and vendor management activities (including IT Asset Management & Software Licensing).
The successful candidate will possess:
1. Vendor/Supplier management experience - able to engage with/manage internal and external suppliers and other third-party service providers in a confident manner.
2. Strong experience in technology asset management (hardware and software).
3. Commercial experience including financial management (from raising PRs to accruing POs to a multi-million-pound budget).
4. Experience in resource and portfolio demand planning.
5. Strong data analysis and analytical skills, particularly with KPIs.
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday and will benefit from a fantastic hybrid working environment (mostly remote with 1 or 2 days per week in the office), plus excellent benefits and perks.
