The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take full responsibility for the finance function, with key duties including:

* Closely monitoring cashflow, ensuring the business meets its obligations and is well positioned for growth
* Producing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and regular cashflow forecasts

* Supporting strategic planning around stock purchasing, credit exposure, and supplier payments
* Continuously improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership and happy operating as a one-person finance department. You’ll be naturally proactive, highly organised, and commercially aware. Key experience includes:
* Proven background in a broad finance role within an SME, ideally in a product or stock-based business
* Strong understanding of cashflow management and credit control
* Excellent technical accounting skills including reconciliations and ledger management
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting software
* Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders
* A hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up attitude with great attention to detail
The Offer
* Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
* Location: Cirencester (fully office-based role)
* Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent contract
* Start Date: May 2025 or earlier if available
