Are you experienced in negotiation and supplier management? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment?
An engineering business in Burton on Trent is on the lookout for a Category Manager to join their Procurement Team. You’d be joining them at a great time due to their major development plans and extremely successful period of growth.
You’ll have the flexibility of hybrid working, with 3 days typically spent in the office and the rest at home.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
2. Work collaboratively with the Procurement Team on sourcing strategies.
3. Analyze market trends and supplier performance.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
2. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
3. Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
