Randstad Student Support is seeking compassionate Specialist Mentors to work with students in Aberdeen who have specific learning disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in empowering students by offering one-to-one guidance that enables them to overcome academic obstacles and achieve their full potential.
Starting on 1st September 2024, this role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing you to deliver both in-person and online sessions. You'll need to be able to travel to local universities or colleges in Aberdeen, offering support that is adaptable to each student's unique needs and preferences.

As a Specialist Mentor, you would be a trusted advisor for students. You will be required to assist students throughout the full academic year. You will help students to reflect on their experiences in study as well as introducing strategies to overcome certain barriers.
As a Specialist Mentor you will support students on a 1-2-1 basis to:
- Create strategies around organisation and time management
- Breaking down tasks to meet deadlines
- Achieve an appropriate balance in study and daily living
