Maintenance Technician, Rugby, am / pm rotating, £44,000 - £50,000pa depending on experience.
Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a hugely successful, well-established, expanding manufacturing company who are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician for their production operation in the Rugby area.
The role of Maintenance Technician includes:
1. Assisting the Production team where possible
2. Providing engineering solutions and assisting in an operational capacity
3. Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant
4. Following preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules
5. Repairs during production
6. Planned maintenance
7. Carrying out scheduled work to restore machines and site back to standard
8. Carrying out change overs when required
9. Looking for opportunities to continuously improve machine performance
10. Assisting in colleague training and development when required
Qualifications/Experience of the Maintenance Technician:
1. Experience of working in a food factory environment would be advantageous but FMCG as a minimum
2. Fully complete apprenticeship is desirable but not essential
3. Basic computer literacy
4. Able to communicate and motivate others is an essential part of the role
5. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive disposition, and a clear focus on meeting deadlines
