Procurement Manager is required to set up a new procurement and vendor relationship function from scratch. This is a unique role to develop and then implement your road map and strategy for procurement within a leading Financial Services insurer.

The business is a major London Market specialist Insurance firm currently going through a significant transformation across the business. They do not have a procurement function within the organisation, as part of their business wide transformation they are aiming to develop a strategy centralising procurement.
Role:
As part of this transformation the business are seeking a Procurement Lead or Procurement Manager who has experience developing and implementing procurement strategies. Currently there is no procurement or vendor management function so you will be responsible for creating this from scratch. This will cover procurement, vendor management and interaction, regulation and reporting and significant renegotiation of contracts..
You should have exceptional diplomatic skills, both in working with external vendors as well as internal senior stakeholders.
