Working Hours Normal hours of work are 40 hours per week on the following shift pattern of 0600-1400/1400-2200/2200-0600 as required) with a 30-minute lunch break each day. Main Purpose of Job Machine forgings and tooling to specified drawings across both manual and CNC machining centres. The parts machined feed both the commercial and aerospace markets. Key Tasks and Accountabilities - Read and understand drawings. - Use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier and Surface Roughness Gauge). - Document results and dimension reports both manually and electronically. - Carry out maintenance and crane checks. - Machine parts to drawing and record results both manually and electronically. - Housekeeping (5s Duties). - Health and Safety - working in a safe and responsible manner, for own and other peoples' safety. - Machine setting. - Material Movements. - Any other ad-hoc duties as required. Qualifications - Apprentice trained - mechanical manufacturing or equivalent. - Forklift Licence to RTITB/ITSSAR or any other national accredited qualifications. - Overhead crane/lifting certification. - Part programming experience. - Computer literate. - Experience with machine forgings.
