As the Director of Technology – Sustaining Services, you’ll drive transformative advancements in repair, refurbishment, product lifecycle extension, and distribution management. This position is essential for ensuring that products continue to perform optimally long after they’ve left the production floor, extending their lifecycle and maximizing their value to our customers.
In this role, you’ll work to develop and deploy robust technologies that streamline aftermarket processes, ensuring repair and refurbishment operations are efficient, responsive, and scalable. You’ll be at the forefront of crafting solutions that enhance product longevity and reliability, using data-driven insights and cutting-edge tools to extend product lifecycles and keep our customers satisfied.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including logistics, quality, and engineering—will be key as you integrate advanced tracking systems, automation, and smart diagnostics into distribution and service networks. You’ll also lead efforts to establish smooth, resilient distribution channels that support product returns, repairs, and re-distribution, optimizing every step in the lifecycle journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Visionary Leadership and Strategic Transformation: Craft a compelling vision of the future, rallying stakeholder enthusiasm to transform operational processes by blending site-specific insights, customer feedback, and pioneering advancements. Lead large-scale change initiatives with a clear roadmap, adjusting strategies as necessary to respond to dynamic operational needs.
2. Resource Optimization and Impactful Execution: Champion resource and budget management for innovating, validating and implementing impactful changes that drive efficiency within operational frameworks.
3. Influential Leadership and Decision Facilitation: Build alignment among cross-functional teams and stakeholders to foster swift decision-making and implementation of strategic initiatives.
4. Pioneering Innovation and Technology Life Cycle Management: Ignite and guide scalable technology deployments, overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation through deployment and thoughtful retirement.
5. Collaborative Engagement: Create dynamic collaborations with internal and external partners, weaving together diverse insights into a unified operational strategy.

Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
2. Experience: Proven experience in leading operational transformation initiatives, with a track record of delivering value and driving process improvements.
3. Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership capabilities, proven to navigate complex environments and inspire teams across functions.
4. Collaboration: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building strategic relationships and fostering teamwork.
5. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a curiosity-driven approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
6. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and manage change effectively.
7. Project Management: Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting and accountability for cost, schedule, and execution.
