Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Preston! As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across various key stages, ensuring that students receive high-quality, engaging lessons. You will work within a supportive department, helping to drive the success of our students through innovative teaching methods and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching).
2. Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to the diverse needs of students.
3. Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
3. Passionate about teaching and supporting students' development.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Experience in teaching Maths at secondary level is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
