The opportunity
This vacancy is an opportunity to join the high-performing and dynamic Enterprise team at Barnsley College. You will support the team in delivering multiple projects and outputs, which include supporting enterprise and entrepreneurship, developing and delivering enrichment activities, and supporting employability and personal development through Connect and the highly successful Talent United employer engagement initiative.
The Enterprise team is part of the wider Student Services which include, Careers, Funding, Wellbeing, Libraries, and the Students Union. This role will provide you with an opportunity to collaborate with other teams on many themed cross college events, providing the best possible experience for students. Therefore, teamwork and communication skills are key.
This role will be responsible for maintaining strong external partnerships and be required to raise purchase orders and make payments for services used by the Enterprise team. This role will also support the Enterprise Team Leader in tracking the overall budget.
