The trainee CBT position involves engaging in and undertaking the PG Diploma in High Intensity CBT at Royal Holloway London. Training takes place over one academic year and involves spending two days per week at university and three days in service at Bexley NHS Talking Therapies. You will provide high intensity interventions to adults presenting with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, Talking Therapy qualified Counsellors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Primary Care Mental Health Practitioners and Employment Advisors. Clinical and case management supervision is provided within the service. Once qualified you will be expected to offer F2F treatment as well as facilitate group session / assessments. You will be required to; - Attend University 2 days a week - Work in service 3 days a week providing High Intensity treatment according to the stipulations of your training and advice from your leads in service to carefully selected clients needing support for their Mental Health. - You will be providing treatment in line with the University Modules and once qualified will be expected to provided F2F and/or group treatment for those requiring this. - Attend team meetings as required - Attend in house training as required - Attend one to one clinical supervision with your allocated supervisor.
