What skills and experience we're looking for
St Peter’s Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint 2 x Teaching and Learning Assistants to join our team of enthusiastic and hard-working staff.
Job role:
TA2 working 25 hours to support children in their learning within a class. The working hours will be spread over 5 days to suit the class time table between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm
The role will be paid on Grade C SP 3-5
The ideal candidate will:
• Have recent experience working in a school.
• It would be an advantage to have some knowledge and experience of working with children with additional needs.
• Have enthusiasm for working with, educating and caring for children
• Be qualified to GCSE level A-C in maths and English (certificates will be required at interview)
• Support the Christian ethos of our school
• Be innovative and highly motivated to achieve the best for yourself, the children and the school
• Be able to work in a team
• Have a sense of fun and humour
• Be able to communicate with staff, parents, children and the wider school community
