As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by providing finance support to the BGIUK Executive Team and the Finance Leadership Team. You will ensure that our functional costs are fully understood and managed effectively, contributing to the overall financial health of our organisation. How you’ll help us make health happen
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers, acting as a true partner to the Functional leadership team.
* Provide Exec level commentary and insightful MI across functional finances, including monthly flash, ELOS, and functional/cost centre reporting.
* Engage with relevant teams to support and deliver actuals, forecast, plan, or modelling activities.
* Provide commercial support and challenge proposed activities with alternative proposals by ensuring budget holders have relevant information required to make decisions and automate data provision where possible.
* Ensure appropriate financial control for one or several Functions/Cost centres within the BGIUK functional cost base.
Key Skills/Qualifications required for this role
* Professional accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA or equivalent) is required.
* Business Partnering experience to an Executive team (ET) and ET-1 level with confidence to present analytics and options, robustly challenge, holds an inquisitive mindset and strong understanding of corporate functions is essential.
* Strong financial modelling and investment appraisal skills.
* Experience with complex recharge/service fee models.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work under significant pressure and handle multiple priorities.
