This position is part of the Sales team for Gates Engineering & Services Global Centre for Hose Manufacturing. WHAT TO EXPECT The District Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving Gates' sales growth within the Oil & Gas sector. This full-time position focuses on managing key strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, fostering long-term customer relationships, and coordinating closely with internal teams across manufacturing and R&E. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and grow market share. Promote Gates Oil & Gas products across Offshore and Onshore markets. Manage key accounts, building strong, long-term relationships. Identify new business opportunities and maintain a robust prospect pipeline. Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable business. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions. Drive product and service introductions to meet market demands. Represent Gates at trade shows and industry events. Ensure adherence to company policies and contractual obligations. ABOUT YOU Required Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector. Proven expertise in key account management and strategic sales planning. Required Skills: Expertise in prospecting, pipeline management, and value selling. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. Knowledge of logistics, Incoterms 2020, API standards, and third-party approvals. Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems. Experience with trade show exhibiting and coordination.
