Job Description
Role Overview: Support the global account management team by ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations. Collaborate with the SVP and Global Operations Manager to develop, document, implement, and maintain sales operations procedures on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* CRM Superuser: Master the CRM system, train the sales team, monitor data accuracy, and document sales operations procedures.
* Training: Conduct regular training sessions for the account management team to ensure adherence to sales procedures and documentation.
* Sales Lead Coordination: Assign sales leads and tenders to account managers daily and ensure timely follow-up.
* Account Allocation: Work with the SVP to allocate accounts to account managers and set them up in the CRM.
* Procedure Development: Identify, scope, test, document, and implement sales procedures to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
* Meeting Coordination: Set up and coordinate weekly sales meetings, take minutes, and participate in monthly sales meetings with various departments.
* Report Assistance: Help account managers with account plans, weekly/monthly reports, and other required activity reports.
* Documentation Maintenance: Keep the sales manual of processes and procedures up to date, ensuring the latest templates are available for various reports and documents.
* Bid/No Bid Process: Coordinate the bid/no bid and opportunity kick-off approvals process.
* Issue Resolution: Prioritize and resolve procedural issues impacting account managers’ efficiency.
* Tender Support: Assist in the collation, compilation, and timely submission of tender documents.
* Additional Tasks: Perform any additional tasks as required by the SVP of Account Management.
Reporting Structure:
* Direct: SVP Account Management
* Indirect: Sales Operations Manager
Experience:
* 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent.
* Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office (especially MS Excel).
* Understanding of sales performance metrics.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Team player with a high level of dedication.
* Ability to work under strict deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree with significant written or analytical content.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Salary: £25k-35k, depending on experience.
