Restaurant Manager Job in the Cotswolds
Our client, a luxury estate/retreat based in the Cotswolds, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their friendly and energetic restaurant team. The team is incredibly important to the whole business and plays a vital part in delivering a first-class guest experience.
The key focus of the role will be to ensure a smooth running of day-to-day service while managing the restaurant Front of House team, developing the business, promoting the restaurant, and maximizing covers.
You must be positive and love interacting with guests. The business is a luxury brand, and as such, they have a wide range of guests, so an easy rapport and great people skills are essential for this role.
The operation is a restored historic Cotswold manor and farm. It is a family story where a passion for the land, food, and entertaining merges with a love of local heritage, beauty, and conservation.

Knowledge & Experience
* Assist in ensuring the restaurant is running to an extremely high standard.
* Supervision, allocation, and development of the restaurant Front of House team. Putting into practice excellent service standards, managing guest expectations and complaints.
* Liaising with Head Chef daily regarding the menu.
* Implementing high standards and excellent practice and being a role model for the restaurant team.
* Liaising with reservations and reception to make sure the hotel residents have tables booked and are prioritized. Ensuring all special occasions and guest notes are communicated and executed.
* Manage bookings and ensure maximum covers. Liaising with reservations team to make sure all non-residents are booked in correctly and minimize no-shows and incorrect bookings.
* Staff training – to include service training, cross training in other areas, allergens, H&S.
* Adding to and implementing all SOPs, ensuring all checklists and due diligence.
* General administration to include daily reports, cash ups, Plan Day/rota management.
* Managing the P&L and budgets.

Pay: £42,000-£45,000 per year
