Hensall Co-op continues to grow! We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our team at the Tilbury location. This is a full-time Maternity Leave coverage contract position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assisting all sales and order processing for crop inputs and crop procurement
* Seasonally assisting with processing of grain tickets for customer deliveries
* Assist customers with account inquiries
* Shipment and settlement administration for food grade products and commercial grains
* Daily processing of crop input transactions and invoicing using Thede Ward (Point of Sale System)
* Ensure that crop inventory is in place based on customer orders and forecast budgets
Job Requirements:
* Superior customer service skills and a friendly courteous attitude
* Excellent organization, administration and computer skills
* Strong agricultural cropping background
* Ability to perform sales tasks with both existing customers and new prospects
* Available to work overtime hours including weekends when necessary
Qualifications:
* Post-Secondary education in a business or agri-business program is preferred
* Previous experience in the ag-retail business is considered an asset
