Principal Recruitment Consultant - Civil and Structural Engineering
About the Company - Required to join our client who are a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their London office who have a workload of 80% repeat customers.
About the Role - The Structural Engineer would be working on a range of projects, however primarily in the Residential sector and will be rewarded with a range of excellent benefits and a salary of up to £45,000 maybe more for an exceptional candidate. This is a new role that has arisen from the result of new business and an Engineer leaving to go traveling, they have a very low turnover of staff. The Structural Engineer will have development potential as the company grow across all offices so there is a clear line to Principal and Associate positions. This opportunity will support a candidate to Chartership with the ICE or IStructE.
Responsibilities -
* Working on a range of commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure sectors
* Attending Client Meetings
* Scheme Design
* Work on all aspects of projects, from conceptual scheme design to construction on site
* Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
* Model and design using cutting-edge software
* Write reports and liaise with contractors and clients
* Receive on-the-job training and mentoring from industry-leading professionals
* Work towards ICE / IStructE qualifications with professional support
Qualifications - A BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE.
Required Skills -
* Up to 3 years’ experience within a UK Consultancy
* Experience TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
* Ability to design to British Standards or Eurocode
* Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential
* Experience across several sectors - Commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure
* Experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works
Pay range and compensation package - Salary up to £45,000 DOE, Paid Membership fees, Company pension 3% Employee 5% Employer, Career progression, Flexible benefits package, Enhanced Family policies, 25 days’ holiday + BH, Bonus scheme (based on company and personal performance)
