Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, well-motivated Band 7 sonographer to join our busy, friendly team. The successful candidate must hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent and be HCPC registered.
Our ultrasound department has a team of sonographers who cover the core elements of general medical, obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound including early pregnancy and also specialist roles including MSK, neonatal hips and heads, head and neck and contrast enhanced ultrasound. We are a progressive, expanding department that actively encourages and supports role development and CPD. You will be responsible for reporting all of your own work and are expected to participate in the training of student sonographers.
The role will include travel to our other sites at Mansfield Community and Newark Hospitals. We are currently in the process of creating a Community Diagnostic Centre on the Mansfield Community Hospital Site, and Ultrasound will be part of this development.
We are happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants.
