Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with an established business based in the Poole area to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team.
Responsibilities of the Credit Controller include:
1. Handling customer account queries
2. Opening accounts and setting credit limits in accordance with the company credit policy
3. Chasing payments via telephone and email
4. Resolving invoice and payment queries
5. Allocating payments based on customer remittances
6. Processing customer credit card payments
7. Reconciling customer ledgers and resolving discrepancies
8. Producing and distributing customer statements of account
9. Reconciling customer accounts
10. Managing new accounts and high-value invoices
11. Escalating accounts where necessary
12. Building effective relationships with customers
To be considered for the Credit Controller role, you will need:
13. Previous Credit Control experience
14. Proactive and self-motivated
15. Strong organisation and time management skills
16. Strong customer service attitude
17. Analytical, problem-solving mind-set
18. Excellent communication skills
