Working in a team of 3, we have an opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to join our team here at KGS. Ideally, with previous experience in a school or education setting, you will provide an effective and responsive service, ensuring the cleanliness, appearance, and security of the school site is maintained to the highest standard.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day upkeep of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
2. Work with external contractors for both emergency and routine matters.
3. Coordinate school and external events.
4. Carry out risk assessments and maintain inspection records of all caretaking tasks.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, on a rotating shift pattern, with 25 days holiday (rising to 27 days after 5 years' service). In addition, there is also the opportunity to work significant overtime hours. Free school lunches are available during term time.
Salary: Circa £27,000 depending on experience. There will also be significant overtime opportunities.
