Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (with 3-5 years post-degree experience)
This 20-year-old contractor has a secure repeat business client base in the retail, leisure, healthcare, and commercial sectors, covering new build, refurb, and fit-out projects, often in a live environment.
The business is comprised of senior staff from a highly acclaimed construction management firm, making this Site Manager role ideal for someone accustomed to solid processes.
There is an immediate position for an up-and-coming Site Manager with experience running their own jobs. This role is suited for someone who can operate independently but desires career progression and total support when needed.
The work is varied, including projects like adding a mezzanine floor, extensions, phasing works around operational areas, or refreshing a spin studio. Projects typically range from £1m - £3m, with some up to £6m, often for repeat business clients.
Responsibilities:
Any Site Manager applying for this role would need to:
1. Demonstrate time spent with previous employers (loyalty and commitment are valued).
2. Have good technical building knowledge as well as refurb/fit-out experience.
3. Show experience in the retail/leisure/commercial sector.
4. Be client-facing, candid, a good communicator, and always looking to improve.
5. Be willing to work nationwide.
6. Be process-driven, client-facing with good values.
