Our engineering client is seeking a UK Delivery Lead to support with the UK sales by liaising with customers and the company’s stakeholders. This role will require you to ensure customers receive their orders within the correct timeframes, and allow a smooth process by checking the materials are correct before they reach the customer. We are seeking candidates for the UK Delivery Lead role who have experience from an engineering background, and some site visits around the country will be required within the role, with occasional overnight stays, so it is essential that you have a driving licence. This role will be a split of working in the office and on the shop floor. J ob Description for the UK Delivery Lead role: To act as the main point of contact between the customer and the company once a sales order has been received Checking materials against technical drawings to ensure they are completed to the agreed specifications from the customer Liaise with customers about changes they wish to make to their orders Inform customers about any issues with lead times or the quality Liaise with the Production and Finishing departments for updates on when materials will be ready for dispatch Liaise with the Transport department to arrange deliveries to customers Some travel to customers’ offices and sites to deliver product training and complete basic measurements For the UK Delivery Lead role, it would be good to see candidates with the following skills and experience: Experience within the engineering industry Must be able to understand technical drawings Full UK driving licence is essential as there will be some site visits around the country Be able to commit to overnight stays when required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be IT literate, especially Excel and Outlook – experience of SAP is preferable GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above in English and Maths Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision Benefits: Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays PMI: Taxable benefit but paid for by employer after probation Pension: Employee 5%, Employer 3% Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus scheme Life Assurance: 3 times annual salary Others: ERP and Reward Gateway (discounts) Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm Salary: Up to £27.5k Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
