Job Title: Handyperson/Maintenance
Reports to: Building Manager
Job Purpose:
You may also be required to provide absence cover for other Concierge shifts from time to time.
Shifts:
2 x weekdays (7.5 hour days) - potential to split these hours in a different manner.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
1. Ability to troubleshoot issues and determine solutions
2. Painting and decorating
3. Able to carry out routine and emergency repairs
4. Small carpentry repairs/works
5. Competent at DIY
6. Health and safety awareness
7. Carrying out small maintenance jobs throughout the building and grounds
8. Ability to assist the Building Manager with inspection of contractor’s work/quality
9. Attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
Desirable Skills:
1. Ability to identify new works/repairs and report to the Building Manager
2. Building regulation knowledge would be an advantage
3. Basic computer knowledge
4. Willingness to undertake any tasks as needed (keeping the site clean and tidy, etc.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 15 per week
